Teenager Charged with Armed Carjacking of FBI Agent in Washington, D.C.

- The carjacking occurred on Nov. 29 as the off-duty agent was getting out of her vehicle; the suspects fled in the agent’s vehicle, which was later recovered.
- Lynch was identified as the driver from surveillance footage and an anonymous tip suggested he and the other suspect were members of the Area 71 gang.
- FBI-issued ammunition was found at Lynch's home during his arrest; he had been suspended from school on the day of the carjacking.
- The case remains under investigation as the second suspect has not been identified or apprehended; a joint reward of up to $20,000 is being offered for information leading to arrest and conviction.
