Televangelist, Author, Southern Baptist Leader Charles Stanley Dies at 90

Charles Stanley, founder of In Touch Ministries, served as senior pastor of First Baptist Church of Atlanta for over 50 years.
Stanley was president of the Southern Baptist Convention in the 1980s and grew his Atlanta church to over 15,000 members.
He hosted the Christian TV program "In Touch with Dr. Charles Stanley" which aired on the Christian Broadcasting Network.
Stanley wrote over 40 books and was an avid photographer known for capturing nature and the outdoors.
Religious leaders mourned Stanley's death, calling him a pioneer and icon.
