Tennessee surgeon fatally shot by patient in exam room

Dr. Benjamin Mauck was shot three times and killed in an exam room at Campbell Clinic Orthopedics in Collierville, Tennessee.
The suspected shooter, Larry Pickens, was a long-term patient of the clinic who had visited multiple sites within the network.
Pickens was apprehended shortly after the shooting and charged with first-degree murder and aggravated assault.
