Teresa Taylor, Longtime Drummer for Punk Band Butthole Surfers, Dies at 60

Teresa Taylor, known as Teresa Nervosa, died peacefully in her sleep at age 60 after struggling with lung disease.
Taylor was the drummer for the Butthole Surfers from 1983 to 1989 and again in 2009, leaving the band briefly due to health issues including a brain aneurysm.
Outside of music, Taylor had a memorable cameo in Richard Linklater's 1990 film "Slacker."
After overcoming her health struggles, Taylor joined a Butthole Surfers bandmate in a group called Rubble.
Taylor had been clean and sober at the time of her passing, according to her partner Cheryl Curtice.
