Tesla Launches Updated Model 3 in North America

The 'Highland' Refresh Features Increased Range and New Features, Amid Increased Market Competition

Tesla has launched its updated Model 3, codenamed 'Highland', in North America, following its debut in China and Europe last year.
The refreshed Model 3 features a larger glass roof, two new paint colors, upgraded wheels, ambient lighting, and an 8-inch rear display for back-seat passengers.
The Model 3 is available in rear-wheel drive and long-range dual-motor all-wheel drive versions, priced at $38,990 and $45,990 respectively.
The long-range version of the Model 3 has an estimated range of 341 miles, up from the previous 333 miles.
The launch comes as Tesla faces increased competition in the EV market, having lost its top spot in overall sales to China's BYD last year.
