Tesla to Raise Prices on All Models in Canada by Up to $9,000 Starting February 1

The price hike follows recent increases and coincides with potential U.S.-Canada trade tensions and the end of a federal EV rebate program.

Tesla's Model 3 will see the largest price increase in Canada, rising by up to C$9,000 ($6,255), while the Model Y, S, and X will increase by up to C$4,000 ($2,750).
The price adjustments come after Tesla already raised prices on select models earlier in January by C$1,000 ($700).
Canada's federal EV rebate program, which offered up to C$5,000 per purchase, recently ended due to depleted funds, further impacting affordability for Canadian buyers.
The timing of the price hikes aligns with potential trade tensions, as U.S. President Donald Trump has threatened a 25% tariff on Canadian imports, prompting warnings of reciprocal measures from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
Tesla vehicles imported from China, already subject to a 100% Canadian tariff, are also affected, though the company's Cybertruck remains unaffected by the latest price increase.
