Tesla's Europe sales fall 49% as rivals gain ground

Competition from Chinese manufacturers coupled with consumer resistance to Elon Musk's politics has diminished Tesla's appeal in Europe's expanding electric vehicle market.

Overview

  • Tesla's EU sales fell 49% in April, reducing its market share to 0.7% from 1.3% a year earlier.
