Texas Man Arrested for Assaulting Poll Worker Over Political Hat

Jesse Lutzenberger faces felony charges after allegedly punching a San Antonio poll worker who asked him to remove his pro-Trump hat at a voting site.

The incident occurred at a San Antonio library during early voting when the poll worker, aged 69, requested Lutzenberger to remove his MAGA hat in accordance with Texas election laws.
Lutzenberger initially complied but later put the hat back on, prompting the poll worker to escort him out of the building.
Security footage reportedly shows Lutzenberger throwing an arm back at the worker, then turning to punch him several times in the face.
The poll worker sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at the scene, while Lutzenberger was arrested and released on a $30,000 bond.
