Texas Man Sues Walmart for $100M or Lifetime Free Shopping Over Alleged Racial Profiling

Roderick Jackson, a Texas man, has filed a lawsuit against Walmart, claiming he was racially profiled and falsely accused of shoplifting in an incident that occurred in March 2021 at a Walmart in Omaha, Nebraska.
Jackson has filed two handwritten complaints, one alleging a 'false pretense of shoplifting' and the other claiming he 'suffered civil rights violations based on race/color'.
In his lawsuit, Jackson is seeking $100 million in damages or unlimited free lifetime shopping at any Walmart store, as well as for Walmart to cover his court fees.
This is the second time Jackson has sued Walmart over the same incident. His first lawsuit, filed in 2021, was dismissed due to improper service and lack of merit in his claims.
Walmart has responded to the lawsuit, stating that they do not tolerate discrimination of any kind and intend to defend the company against the allegations once they have been properly served.
