Texas Mother Sentenced to 50 Years for Abandoning Children with Decomposing Brother's Body

Gloria Williams pleaded guilty to child injury charges after leaving her children in squalid conditions with their slain brother's remains.

Gloria Williams, 38, was sentenced to 50 years in prison for forcing her children to live with the decomposing body of their brother, Kendrick Lee.
Kendrick was beaten to death by Williams' boyfriend, Brian Coulter, in late 2020, with his body left in the apartment for over a year.
Coulter was sentenced to life in prison without parole for the murder of Kendrick Lee, which he committed around Thanksgiving 2020.
The surviving siblings, aged 7, 10, and 15, were found malnourished and living in a bug-infested, unfurnished apartment.
Williams relinquished her parental rights following her arrest, with the two younger siblings being adopted and the eldest placed in foster care.
