Texas Senate Passes Bill Mandating Ten Commandments Displays in Public Schools

The bill is not the first attempt to force the Ten Commandments into schools, but a 1980 Supreme Court ruling struck down a similar law.
The bills will now move to the Texas state House of Representatives for consideration.
