Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the expansion will serve as a 'companion' to the existing museum, featuring a sculptural form that echoes the original building's architecture.

Admission to the museum will remain free, with special exhibitions at a cost, and no additional parking will be built for the expansion.
