'The Chosen' Secures Amazon MGM Deal, Adds Reality Series with Bear Grylls

The faith-based TV series will stream exclusively on Prime Video, debut new seasons in theaters, and launch an unscripted survival spinoff.

Amazon MGM Studios has acquired exclusive U.S. streaming rights for all seasons of 'The Chosen,' including future Seasons 6 and 7.
Season 5 of the series will premiere theatrically on March 28, 2025, before streaming on Prime Video in June.
A new reality spinoff, 'The Chosen in the Wild with Bear Grylls,' will feature the cast and creator Dallas Jenkins learning survival skills in the wilderness.
The deal also includes theatrical distribution for the final two seasons, which will depict the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Amazon MGM Studios signed a first-look deal with Jenkins' 5&2 Studios for additional faith-based content, expanding its partnership beyond 'The Chosen.'
