The Hunger Games Stage Adaptation to Premiere in London This October

The live adaptation of Suzanne Collins' dystopian saga will debut at the newly built Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre.

The stage adaptation of 'The Hunger Games' will open on October 20, 2025, at the 1,200-seat Troubadour Canary Wharf Theatre in London.
Award-winning playwright Conor McPherson has adapted the first book in Suzanne Collins' series, with direction by Matthew Dunster, known for '2:22 – A Ghost Story.'
The immersive production will feature an in-the-round staging designed to bring the audience closer to the action in Panem's dystopian world.
Tickets for the play will go on sale on March 27, 2025, with the full cast yet to be announced.
The premiere coincides with the March release of Collins' new prequel novel, 'Sunrise on the Reaping,' which explores Haymitch Abernathy's backstory and is set to be adapted into a film by 2026.
