Third Escaped Georgia Inmate Captured; Fourth Still on the Run
Large Amounts of Drugs Found at Capture Site; Murder Suspect Remains At Large
- Johnifer Dernard Barnwell, the third of four inmates who escaped from the Bibb County Detention Center in Georgia last month, has been captured.
- Barnwell was found in a home in Augusta, Georgia, where large amounts of drugs were also discovered.
- Two other escapees, Chavis Demaryo Stokes and Marc Kerry Anderson, were previously captured.
- The fourth escapee, Joey Fournier, who was incarcerated for murder, remains at large.
- The inmates escaped through a damaged window and a cut fence, and a blue Dodge Challenger was seen near the jail, believed to have aided in the escape.
