Third Teen Arrested in Connection with Deadly Bronx Subway Shooting

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with murder and attempted murder following a gang-related shootout that killed one and injured five in February.

The incident, involving a gang dispute, resulted in the death of Obed Beltran-Sanchez, an innocent bystander, and injuries to five others.
The shootout occurred on February 12 aboard a northbound 4 train at the Mount Eden Avenue station during a confrontation between rival gangs.
Two other teenagers, including a 16-year-old and a 14-year-old, were previously arrested in connection with the same shooting.
The arrested minors are linked to a gang feud that has been tied to ongoing disputes and previous violent incidents.
