Thor and Harbinger Unveil Hybrid RV with 500-Mile Range and Off-Grid Power

The new Class A motorhome combines a 140-kWh battery pack with a gasoline range extender, offering extended travel and emergency power capabilities.

Thor Industries and Harbinger Motors have collaborated to create the world's first hybrid Class A motorhome, set for release in 2025.
The RV features a 140-kWh battery pack and a 1.4-liter gas engine generator, providing a combined range of 500 miles.
The hybrid powertrain allows for 150 miles of all-electric driving and an additional 350 miles using the gas range extender.
The RV includes advanced technologies such as an 800-volt electrical architecture, steer-by-wire system, and double-wishbone front suspension.
In addition to travel benefits, the RV can serve as a backup power source for homes during outages, utilizing its battery and solar roof.
