Three women reported being raped during Cologne's Women's Carnival Day celebrations, with incidents occurring in popular party areas.
Two of the assaults reportedly took place in portable toilets, one near the university meadows and the other in the early hours of Friday morning.
An 18-year-old woman was allegedly raped in a bar in the Zülpicher district; the suspect in this case has been identified.
Police also recorded four sexual offenses overall, alongside 25 cases of bodily harm, 76 evictions, and 14 detentions for conflict prevention.
Authorities conducted over 210 youth protection checks and 370 weapon inspections, seizing several knives and realistic imitation weapons.
