Allen was accused of insulting the employee but claimed the dispute was part of a rental car extortion scheme targeting American tourists.
Unable to leave Dubai for months due to a travel ban, Allen recently paid a fee to authorities to have the ban lifted.

Upon returning to the US, Allen was instructed by UAE authorities not to return to Dubai.
