TMC MP Kalyan Banerjee Suspended After Waqf Bill Meeting Scuffle

Banerjee was suspended for one day from the committee for unruly conduct, following a motion moved by BJP MP Nishikant Dubey.
The meeting was briefly halted as opposition members questioned the involvement of retired judges and lawyers in the bill's consultative process.
Opposition members accused the government of using the Waqf Bill for political purposes, alleging that it targets the Muslim community.
