Top Pitching Prospect Kumar Rocker to Undergo Tommy John Surgery

Texas Rangers prospect Kumar Rocker will have Tommy John surgery to repair a torn ligament in his pitching elbow.
The 23-year-old Rocker was on the verge of being promoted to the majors, according to the Rangers general manager.
Rocker is considered the No. 100 overall prospect in baseball and the No. 6 prospect in the Rangers organization.
Rocker did not provide medical information to MLB ahead of the draft as part of a league program.
Rocker made six starts in the minors for the Rangers before suffering his latest injury.
