Miami Hurricanes quarterback Cam Ward and Colorado's Shedeur Sanders, two of the top quarterback prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft, have decided not to participate in on-field drills at the NFL scouting combine.
Ward, a Heisman Trophy finalist and ACC Offensive Player of the Year, emphasized that his game tape and college performance sufficiently showcase his abilities.
Sanders and Ward are training together in Dallas and are widely considered the leading quarterback prospects, with Ward projected by many as the potential No. 1 pick.
Ward confirmed meetings with several teams holding top draft picks, including the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns, New York Giants, and New York Jets, who may trade up to select him.
Both players plan to participate in their respective pro days, with Ward scheduled to throw at the University of Miami on March 24.
