Tour de France 2025 to Kick Off in Lille, Returning to France After Three Years

The 2025 Tour de France will start in the northern French city of Lille, marking a return to France after three consecutive starts abroad.
The last three editions of the Tour started in Copenhagen, Bilbao, and the upcoming 2024 race will start in Florence, Italy.
This will be the third time the race starts in Lille, with prior starts there in 1960 and 1994.
Further details of the opening stage, or Grand Départ, will be released on November 30.
The 2024 edition will end in Nice instead of Paris due to the Olympic Games taking place in the French capital.
