Tragic Accident Claims Life of 4-Year-Old in Wales

An inquest concludes that the death of Maldwyn 'Gwern' Evans was accidental after he was thrown by a garden roller.

Maldwyn 'Gwern' Evans, a four-year-old boy, died from a catastrophic head injury in his garden in Tynreithin, Ceredigion.
The incident occurred when Gwern was playing with a 50-60kg antique garden roller, which he reportedly pushed from behind.
The roller continued down a slope, flipping over and causing Gwern to be thrown onto a concrete patio.
Emergency services arrived quickly but were unable to revive Gwern, who was diagnosed with a traumatic cardiac arrest.
The family, devastated by the loss, has initiated fundraising efforts in Gwern's name for the Welsh Air Ambulance and his school.
