Trans Teen Sentenced to Six Years for Plotting School Shootings

William 'Lilly' Whitworth had detailed plans for attacks on three Colorado Springs schools.

Transgender teenager William 'Lilly' Whitworth has been sentenced to six years in prison after admitting to plotting mass shootings at three schools in Colorado.
Whitworth had written a manifesto detailing her plans, which included a list of firearms and instructions on how to 3D print them, information on bomb-making, and a list of people to be killed.
Her targets included Timberview Middle School, Prairie Hills Elementary, and Pine Creek High School, all located in Colorado Springs.
Whitworth was arrested in March 2023 after her family called the police, reporting that she was threatening to shoot up a school and was punching holes in the wall.
Given Whitworth’s transgender status, it is not immediately clear whether she will be sent to a male or female facility.
