A Pennsylvania judge found Snell's testimony credible, granting her sole custody of their three children while describing Parnell as evasive and less believable.
Parnell has denied the allegations, stating under oath that he never raised a hand in anger toward his wife or children.
Parnell will work under Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who has also faced past allegations of abuse, including a sexual assault settlement in 2017.
