Trump Hotel in Las Vegas Sued Over Guest's Fatal Revolving Door Incident

Diana Truschke, 78, was injured in March 2023 when a revolving door at Trump International Hotel in Las Vegas allegedly malfunctioned, striking her and causing her to fall.
The lawsuit claims the revolving door accelerated unexpectedly, ejecting Truschke onto the sidewalk, where she sustained severe injuries requiring extensive medical treatment.
Truschke's health deteriorated over months, and she passed away in October 2024 due to complications from these injuries.
Her son, John Truschke, filed a wrongful death lawsuit on March 18, 2025, accusing the hotel of negligence and seeking damages exceeding $15,000 for medical expenses, pain, and loss of companionship.
Trump International Hotel has not responded to requests for comment, and no hearing date has been scheduled for the case.
