TSA Expands Trusted Traveler Program to Teens

TSA PreCheck access has been expanded to include teenagers from 13 to 17 who are traveling with enrolled parents or guardians.
Children 12 and younger were already allowed to accompany adults without restriction.
TSA anticipates large crowds this summer but expects to maintain standard wait times with additional staffing and new screening technology.
Children of vetted parents will be allowed to use TSA PreCheck lines immediately as long as boarding passes display the PreCheck Indicator.
