- Fidan met President Putin and senior Russian negotiators in Moscow this week to press for a durable end to the three-year conflict
- He is set to hold two days of talks in Kyiv with President Zelenskiy, Prime Minister Shmyhal, negotiator Andrii Sybiha and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov
- Turkey will renew its offer to host fresh Russia-Ukraine peace negotiations in Istanbul following May’s prisoner exchange deal
- In earlier talks in Istanbul, Moscow and Kyiv agreed to swap 1,000 prisoners of war and submit written ceasefire proposals but failed to secure a truce
- Fidan will also discuss Turkey’s readiness to support Ukraine’s post-war reconstruction and enhance bilateral trade, energy and security ties
