Twins Make NBA History as First Duo Drafted in Top 10

Twin brothers Amen and Ausar Thompson were selected fifth and sixth overall in the 2023 NBA Draft, becoming the first twins drafted in the top 10 in the same year.
The Thompson twins are 6-foot-7 guards who played for Overtime Elite in Atlanta.
The Thompsons said their mother named them after the 1980s pop band but they are not related to the musicians.
The Lakers and Bucks traded up to acquire picks Nos. 40 and 36 to draft the Thompson twins.
Brook and Robin Lopez and Marcus and Markieff Morris were twins drafted in the first round of the same year but not in the top 10.
