Twins Reliever Jorge Lopez Placed on IL Citing Mental Health Reasons

The Minnesota Twins placed reliever Jorge Lopez on the 15-day injured list for mental health reasons after he had been struggling recently.
Lopez allowed 12 earned runs over his last 61⁄3 innings pitched across his last few outings.
Twins manager Rocco Baldelli supported Lopez's decision and hopes Lopez will come back in the best place mentally.
