Two Arrested in Colorado for Deaths of Children Missing Since 2018

The remains of two children, not reported missing until this year, were found encased in concrete and a suitcase, leading to the arrest of their father and his partner.

Two suspects, Jesus Dominguez and Corena Rose Minjarez, have been arrested in connection with the deaths of two children, Jesus Dominguez Jr. and Yesenia Dominguez, whose remains were found in Colorado.
The children, last seen in the summer of 2018, were not reported missing until their remains were discovered this year, one encased in concrete and the other in a suitcase.
Both suspects face charges of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse, with Dominguez also facing a charge of theft of government benefits.
The arrests followed a series of investigations that began with the discovery of suspicious containers in a storage unit and a vehicle's trunk at a scrapyard.
No missing person's reports had been filed for the children prior to the discovery of their remains, sparking a police investigation that led to the arrests.
