Two Men Arrested Over Alleged Shooting Death of Chloe Jade Mason in Queensland

The suspects, identified as brothers, were apprehended in Logan weeks after the 23-year-old's death in Caboolture on December 22.

Chloe Jade Mason, 23, was found unconscious on Railway Parade in Caboolture and pronounced dead at the scene on December 22 after an alleged altercation involving a gunshot wound.
Police allege Mason knew the two suspects, who were identified as brothers Codye Thomson, 29, and Kaine Thomson-Gleeson, 32.
The men, who allegedly fled Queensland to northern New South Wales after being interviewed as witnesses on the day of the incident, were arrested without incident in Logan on January 6.
Authorities believe the altercation occurred at a Caboolture address before Mason was chased and fatally shot, with a rifle recovered from the scene undergoing forensic testing.
Police thanked the public for their assistance in locating the suspects, while investigations into the case remain ongoing, and no charges have yet been filed.
