U2 to Launch Immersive Las Vegas Residency at High-Tech Sphere Venue

U2 will perform a series of shows at The Venetian's Sphere in Las Vegas starting in September.
The Sphere is a state-of-the-art venue designed to create an immersive audio and visual experience for each attendee.
The venue has nearly 20,000 seats and over 1,800 speakers to provide high-quality sound for every seat.
U2 guitarist The Edge says the venue could provide a "quantum leap forward" in live concert experiences.
The shows will focus on U2's 1991 album "Achtung Baby" and drummer Bram van den Berg will replace Larry Mullen Jr., who is recovering from back surgery.
