Uber has launched a new 'Store Pickup' feature that allows users to have prepaid items picked up from stores and delivered to their doorsteps or to another recipient.
The service is available in over 1,500 cities and towns across the U.S., including major metro areas.
Users must upload a receipt of the purchased item to the Uber app, and the item must be less than $200 in value and weigh less than 30 pounds.
Uber also offers a package return service through Uber Connect, with free returns for Uber One members through the first week of January.
In addition to the 'Store Pickup' feature, Uber is also offering holiday-themed services such as rides in the 'Festive Fleet' and food deliveries by robot reindeer in select cities.
