Ubisoft has delayed the release of 'Star Wars Outlaws', a highly anticipated open-world game, to the fiscal year 2024-2025 with the aim to enhance its value creation, according to the company's latest financial report.
While the company did not explicitly mention the name of the game in its financial report, it confirmed the delay of a 'large game', which is widely speculated to be 'Star Wars Outlaws' due to lack of other Ubisoft games of this scale releasing within the same period.
Initial plans suggested that 'Star Wars Outlaws' was targeted for release before the end of Ubisoft's current fiscal year ending in March 2024, adding some substance to claims that the delay refers to this specific game.
The game was unveiled during the Xbox Games Showcase 2023 and is set to be made available on the PlayStation 5 and PC platforms in addition to the Xbox Series consoles.
