UEFA Partners with Groupe Amaury to Co-Organize Ballon d'Or Awards from 2024, Introduces New Coach Awards

UEFA takeover to see the end of their own player of the year awards, maintain Groupe Amaury’s independent voting system, and introduce new coach awards in both men's and women's category from 2024.

UEFA is set to co-organize soccer's prestigious Ballon d'Or awards in partnership with Groupe Amaury from 2024.
The European soccer body will bring its football expertise to the table, as well as organizing the annual awards gala and marketing the global commercial rights.
This new deal sees the end of UEFA's own player of the year awards, which have traditionally been given out in August each year.
However, it will continue to award the player of the season for each of its club competitions like the Champions League and Europa League.
UEFA and Groupe Amaury are also adding new awards for the best coaches in men's and women's soccer.
