Ukraine Regains Territory in Counteroffensive Against Russia

Ukrainian forces have liberated about 130 square kilometres of territory in the south from Russian control since launching a counteroffensive.
Fighting has focused on the Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia regions, which Russia claims to have annexed.
Ukraine says it has retaken the village of Rivnopil and inflicted heavy losses on Russian forces, destroying over 30 tanks in under a week.
Russia maintains control over large parts of eastern and southern Ukraine despite Ukraine's territorial gains.
Both sides carried out limited ground attacks between western Donetsk and eastern Zaporizhzhia on Sunday, according to reports.
