Ukrainian Drones Strike Multiple Russian Missile and Drone Plants

Russia says its air defenses shot down nearly 300 drones over 13 regions during the raids.

  • Security Service of Ukraine and Armed Forces Special Operations Forces conducted long-range drone strikes overnight on May 27–28 in the Moscow and Ivanovo regions.
  • The Raduga plant in Dubna, which assembles Kh-101, Kh-69 and Kh-59MK cruise missiles, was hit in its assembly and munitions workshops, triggering ongoing fires.
  • The Kronstadt plant near Dubna, producer of Orion, Inokhodets and other unmanned aerial systems, was also struck despite heavy air defense activity.
  • Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces targeted the Angstrem JSC microelectronics facility and the Dmitrovsky chemical plant in Ivanovo, disrupting key components for missiles and explosives.
  • The Russian Defense Ministry reported intercepting 296 drones across 13 regions as it responded to the coordinated raids.
