UK's Most Wanted Fugitive Calvin Parris Captured in Portugal

After four years on the run, Calvin Parris has been extradited to the UK to face charges of conspiracy to supply cocaine.

Calvin Parris, 34, was apprehended by Portuguese police near Boliqueime in the Algarve on October 3.
He was one of the National Crime Agency's most wanted fugitives, accused of using the EncroChat platform to traffic class A drugs into South Wales.
Parris fled the UK in November 2020 following the arrest of several co-conspirators and was believed to be in Spain in 2022.
A European Arrest Warrant was issued in December 2020, leading to a joint investigation by the NCA and European law enforcement.
Parris appeared in Cardiff Magistrates' Court and is remanded in custody until his next court appearance in November.
