Diagnosed several months ago, Arslanogullari had to have his leg amputated despite undergoing chemotherapy to stop the cancer's progression.
He shared his journey on Instagram, including a video of him practicing walking with a prosthetic leg, and thanked supporters for their kindness.
A fundraising campaign initiated by Union Berlin has raised over 320,000 euros to support Arslanogullari and his family.
The funds will help with necessary adjustments, such as finding a wheelchair-accessible home, following his amputation.
