Overview

  • Uttar Pradesh's cooperative bank loan disbursal has surged from Rs 9,190 crore in 2017 to Rs 23,061 crore in 2025, with a net profit of Rs 100.24 crore reported this year.
  • The Mukhyamantri Krishak Samriddhi Yojana has been launched to enhance the income and economic empowerment of small and marginal farmers, with directives for its timely implementation.
  • To strengthen agricultural supply chains, 1,435 warehouses have been built since 2017, with 100 more planned for 2025–26, alongside policies to involve private sector participation in storage expansion.
  • Integration of 51 cooperative banks with NABARD's Core Banking Solution cloud platform is underway to improve cybersecurity and operational efficiency.
  • Recruitment through IBPS is being expedited to address staffing gaps and improve service quality in cooperative institutions.
