  • Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath launched projects under the Basic Education Council totaling Rs3,300 crore to modernize school infrastructure
  • One Chief Minister Composite School will be built in each of the state’s 403 assembly constituencies at an estimated Rs25–30 crore each, offering pre-primary to senior secondary education on a single campus
  • Operation Kayakalp has upgraded facilities in over 97% of schools by providing toilets, drinking water, playgrounds, smart classes and digital libraries
  • Guardians of more than 1.5 crore students received Rs1,200 per child via direct benefit transfer for uniforms, bags, shoes and stationery
  • The government will organize school-level sports and cultural competitions later this year and involve students in summer camps featuring sports, music, dance, drama and yoga ahead of International Yoga Day on June 21
