USC Hires North Dakota State's Matt Entz as Linebackers Coach

Entz, who led North Dakota State to two FCS Championships, will join USC after the current postseason.

North Dakota State head coach Matt Entz has been hired by USC as a linebackers coach and assistant head coach to Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley.
Entz led North Dakota State to two FCS Championships in five years as head coach and is currently in the running for a third.
Entz will remain with North Dakota State through the end of the postseason before joining USC.
USC's defense has struggled, leading to a disappointing 7-5 record despite having one of the best offenses in the country.
Entz's hiring is part of a larger overhaul of USC's defense, which also includes the hiring of D'Anton Lynn as defensive coordinator.
