Usher wore custom Air Jordan 4 "Chrome" sneakers for his Super Bowl LVIII halftime show performance, which were a last-minute addition due to a delay in receiving the second shoe.
The sneakers were designed by Dominic "The Surgeon" Chambrone, who recreated the materials and design in under 48 hours, taking 11 attempts to perfect the shoe.
The design was inspired by Usher's universal space theme, featuring a metallic silver upper with bright sport blue accents and a bedazzled "U" logo.
Usher's performance included a medley of hits from his 30-year career, guest appearances, and a memorable segment on rollerblades before closing out in the custom Air Jordan 4s.
The custom sneakers will not be available for purchase, but they have made a lasting impression on sneaker culture and Usher's performance.
