The man faces charges of using a carriage service to menace and threatening to cause serious harm, with maximum penalties of five and seven years' imprisonment, respectively.
An AFP search of the man's home in Officer, Melbourne, led to the seizure of an electronic device as part of the investigation.
The man, granted bail, is scheduled to appear at Dandenong Magistrates' Court on June 19, 2025, as the AFP continues its efforts under Special Operation Avalite to address hate crimes.
