Virgin Galactic Set to Launch First Private Passenger Spaceflight Next Month

Virgin Galactic will launch its first private passenger spaceflight on August 10th.
The mission will carry two contest winners and an 80-year-old paying customer who will become the first space-going Olympian.
It follows Virgin Galactic's inaugural commercial flight in June carrying three Italian government researchers.
The company aims to provide regular commercial spaceflights and establish space tourism.
Competitor Blue Origin also provides commercial spaceflights but uses a different spacecraft.
