Virginia Man Admits to Illegally Trafficking Rare Turtles

A Virginia man has pleaded guilty to illegally trafficking wild turtles for nearly $13,000 in profits over three years.
The man sold eastern box turtles, including rare "screamer" turtles, to customers across the U.S. and Asia.
Many of the turtles were sold to brokers who then sold them to buyers in demand in Asian pet markets.
The man is set to be sentenced at the end of July for violating federal wildlife protection laws.
