Visionary Theater Leader Todd Haimes, Who Transformed Roundabout, Dies at 66

Todd Haimes rescued Roundabout Theater Company from bankruptcy and built it into one of the largest nonprofit theaters in America over four decades.
Under Haimes' leadership, Roundabout won 11 Tony Awards and fostered the careers of contemporary American playwrights.
Roundabout now operates five theaters in Manhattan, including three Broadway houses, reaching over 500,000 audience members annually.
Haimes is survived by his spouse, children, stepdaughters and grandchildren.
Haimes died due to complications from osteosarcoma at the age of 66.
