• The new XC70 is a plug-in hybrid SUV built on Volvo’s Scalable Modular Architecture and positioned between the XC60 and XC90.
• Volvo will begin taking orders in China later this year and is evaluating additional markets beyond its domestic launch.
• Buyers can choose a 21.22 kWh LFP pack for about 100 km of CLTC electric range or a 39.63 kWh NMC pack for roughly 180 km, making it Volvo’s longest-range PHEV.
• Top-trim variants pair a 1.5 L turbocharged engine with dual electric motors for a combined 593 hp, 667 lb-ft and a 0–100 km/h sprint in about 4.6 seconds.
